Our commitment to your safety

Firmitude is committed to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for everyone who takes part in our activities. We believe that everyone has the right to feel respected, protected and empowered when engaging in sport and wellbeing programmes.

Safeguarding is a shared responsibility. We expect all staff, volunteers, and participants to uphold our values and help create apositive and safe community.

How to report a concern

If you are worried about your own safty or hesaety o someone else, please speak to us as soon as possible. All concerns will be taken seriously and handled sensitively and confidentially.

You can:

  • Speak to a member of staff or the session leader.
  • Contact our Safeguarding Lead directly using the details below.
  • Contact an external suppport service if you prefer.

How we keep you safe
  • All staff and volunteers follow our safeguarding policy.
  • Appropriate DBS checks are completed where required.
  • Team members receive safeguarding training.
  • Clear codes of conduct are in place for staff, volunteers, and participants.
  • We have procedures for reporting and responding to concerns.
